SUMMER

programme of events, the swimming pool in Châtel and Vonnes lake should satisfy all lovers of swimming and fishing...there are two wonderful zip wires called “Fantasticâble” for thrill-seekers who can fly high over the chalets in Plaine-Dranse. Also in the valley, a “via ferrata” (climbing with cables and ladders) awaits our sporty visitors. And finally, for lovers of culture, visit the “Maison du Val” centre, the Abondance Abbey cloisters or the ski museum at La Chapelle...

With a car, numerous excursions and day trips to Switzerland and Italy are possible...

WINTER

In winter, there’s cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and of course downhill skiing in Châtel’s 3 ski areas or in one of the French-Swiss Portes du Soleil resorts (605km of pistes!)
